Shell Giveback Program for Restaurants | gracemarygrimes@gmail.com | Since young oysters can't settle on sandy bottoms, they need hard substrate, like shell, to anchor, and grow. To help create that habitat we collect used shells from local restaurants and events, then return them to the water to support reef building. We're looking for more restaurants on the South Fork (NY) to collect empty shells for our team to pick up weekly, + volunteers to help pick up those shells! To sign up email us! |
